Unfortunately, I’m not gonna be blogging about my life and feelings although, trust me, I love reading blogs about those. I’ll admit that I’m a creepy stalker and always want to know everything and anything about every ones lives.

But I guess that obsession in wanting to know details about everyone’s lives is why I like history. I’ve always loved history, but not necessarily the way it’s taught in schools or universities. I’m not so big on wars, battles, politics or historiography (big and boring word there for you). Although those things can be really interesting, I’m more into the crazy stories, weird facts and racy gossip about people’s lives.

So this blog is going to be a history blog. It’s going to be about people in history whose stories I think are cool. How they lived, the times they lived in, their love affairs, the rumours, the gossip, the facts, the lies and the tragedies. I’ll probably write a disproportionate amount about women, but I tend to find them a bit more interesting because they really had to work that bit harder to get noticed.

I hope you get a kick out of the stories, but if not, just look at the picture. If you don’t like either, I can’t help ya.
